Job Summary
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while monitoring vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse rate. Assist with activities of daily living and provide emotional support to geriatric patients and their families. Educate residents and families regarding health care maintenance and observe changes in patient condition to report to the supervising nurse. This Wednesday night shift (6pm–6am) requires a licensed LPN with no registry findings for abuse or neglect, capable of making quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. Experience in long-term or assisted living facilities is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- No finding in the registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property
- Ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment
- Experience in a long-term or assisted living facility
