Job Summary
As a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Urgent Care setting, provide direct patient care and support to the clinical team. Responsibilities include promoting and restoring patients’ health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, performing various treatment procedures, administering medications, documenting in the electronic medical record, maintaining stocked and ready exam rooms, and supervising assigned team members. Must maintain current NY LPN licensure and adhere to departmental protocols; BLS certification required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Practical Nursing or ASN/BSN in Nursing
- Current licensure in State of New York as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)
- LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
