Assess, formulate, and implement resident care plans within three days of admission while administering medications and treatments as ordered. Act as a charge nurse for 8-hour shifts, serving as a liaison between residents, families, and physicians to ensure continuity of care. Document care accurately in the Electronic Medical Record system, monitor residents for behavioral changes and safety hazards, and maintain an infection-free environment. Identify and report elder abuse, neglect, or exploitation to appropriate authorities. Provide direction to CNAs, participate in continuing education, and uphold positive guest relations throughout the facility.
