Job Summary
Conduct thorough observations of each patient's medical status upon presentation and throughout treatment. Assist in implementing treatment plans under RN or provider direction while providing routine nursing services. Comply with evaluation, treatment, and documentation requirements by completing accurate, timely records and delivering regular status updates. Maintain clinical competency through continuing education and participate in required department meetings. Adhere to hospital, regulatory, and professional standards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Practical Nursing
- ASN/BSN in Nursing
- Current New York State Licensed Practical Nurse license
- Acute Care and Dialysis Only – BLS
