Job Summary
Review patient charts, document concerns, and prepare patients for exams and procedures. Obtain and record vital signs, assist with specimen collection, and report abnormalities to physicians. Provide minor treatments, educate patients and families, and notify them of test results per instructions. Manage room inventory, order supplies, clean exam spaces, and schedule patient testing. Respond to telephone messages and check for expired medications monthly. Requires a CT LPN license, BLS certification, and two years of experience. Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Valid license as Licensed Practical Nurse in CT
- BLS Certification
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years previous experience in a similar position preferred
