Job Summary
Assist with formulating a plan of care for residents, provide nursing care according to physician orders, and update care plans as needed. Observe and document resident conditions, respond promptly to call lights, and direct education for residents and families. Handle linens and supplies in adherence to regulations, use standard precautions with personal protective equipment, and report signs of infection. Utilize the EMR accurately and ensure timely follow-up on resident symptoms. Shifts include days and nights with an 8-week assignment starting ASAP. Pay is $25 per hour. Licensure for the state of practice and a nursing school graduate degree are required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Licensure for state of practice
- Knowledge and familiarity with the therapeutic effects and side effects of all medications administered
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both orally and in writing
