Job Summary
LPN - Urgent Care role performing patient-focused nursing care in urgent care settings. Responsibilities include assisting in planning and delivering care, administering medications (including injections and IV therapy as permitted by licensure), wound care, catheterizations, specimen collection, preparing exam rooms, scheduling follow-ups, charting and data entry, and providing clerical support such as pre-authorizations and appointment scheduling. Requires graduation from an LPN program, active NY licensure with CT licensure anticipated within 3 months, BLS certification, and the ability to work across multiple UCC locations. IV/phlebotomy skills are preferred; must maintain dual licensure in CT and NY and demonstrate competency within 3 months. Pays $33.99-$42.50 per hour depending on experience, with benefits and total rewards outlined by VillageMD. Location: Yonkers, NY; on-site role with potential to work at multiple UCC sites.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a LPN school program
- Current NYS Licensure as an LPN
- Required to obtain CT Licensure within 3 months of hire
- Evidence of applying for CT Licensure within a month of hire
- Must maintain CT and NY LPN license
- BLS Certification required upon hire
- IV and/or Phlebotomy skills preferred
- Competency checklist within first 3 months
- Ability to work in all 6 UCC locations if needed
