Job Summary
LPN provides patient care using the nursing process and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to promote patient recovery and functional improvement. Responsibilities include completing comprehensive assessments, prioritizing care, implementing and documenting physician orders and nursing interventions, monitoring lab values and medications, delivering patient education, communicating with the team, and ensuring age-appropriate care across adult, geriatric, and pediatric populations. Requires Kentucky LPN licensure, completion of an accredited LPN program, and CPR/BLS; shifts are nights (7P-7A) at University Hospital in Louisville, KY.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an LPN program from an accredited school (required)
- Current license to practice as an LPN in the Commonwealth of Kentucky (required)
- CPR/BLS required upon Hire (American Heart Association) (required)
