Job Summary
LPN to provide direct patient care on the 7E Complex Cardiac Medical PCU during night shifts (7p-7a). Responsibilities include performing comprehensive daily patient assessments, prioritizing care, updating and implementing care plans, administering medications, and documenting interventions and patient progress. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team, educates patients/families on self-care and follow-up, and communicates changes in patient status to the supervisor and physicians. Requires knowledge of nursing theory and practice, adherence to HIPAA, safety standards, ongoing professional development, and completion of annual competencies. Licensure as an LPN in Kentucky and CPR/BLS are required; preferred prior acute care or rehab experience.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an LPN program
- Current license to practice as an LPN in Kentucky
- CPR/BLS certification upon hire
- Experience in acute care or rehab (preferred)
