Job Summary
LPN provides patient care utilizing the nursing process on the 7P-7A shift at University Hospital (UofL Health). Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, quality care; conducts comprehensive patient assessments, prioritizes care, develops and revises care plans, administers medications, documents progress, and ensures timely communication with physicians and nurses. Includes patient and family education, discharge planning, and adherence to HIPAA and nursing standards. Requires completion of an LPN program and current Kentucky licensure; CPR/BLS required upon hire. Focuses on pediatric/adult/geriatric care with responsibility for safety, quality improvement, and ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an LPN program (accredited)
- Current license to practice as an LPN in the Commonwealth of Kentucky
- CPR/BLS required upon Hire (American Heart Association)
