Job Summary
Unit Manager role overseeing the day-to-day operations of an LPN-led nursing unit in a long-term care facility, while providing direct resident care and supervising nursing staff and CNAs. Responsibilities include medication administration, care planning, regulatory compliance, and resident advocacy; conduct rounds, address resident/family/staff concerns, and ensure safety, infection control, and adherence to policies. Includes quality improvement activities, audits, and survey readiness. Schedule is full-time, Monday–Friday with one weekend per month.
Required Qualifications
- Current LPN license in good standing
- Long-term care experience preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
