LPN

The LPN works under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and is responsible for the complete care of all assigned patients, within the scope of the State Registered Nurse Practice Acts and the agency policies. Duties include administering medications, performing nursing assessments at admission, creating discharge care plans, orienting nursing staff, maintaining clinical records, monitoring TB testing and infection control, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Requires Maryland LPN license and CPR certification; education includes a high school diploma or GED and an AA degree; may require weekend and/or evening duties. Maintains documentation and participates in audits and staff training to uphold patient confidentiality and quality of care. Sobriety and software skills are noted as prerequisites in the role description.
