Job Summary
LPN Triage Nurse in a gastroenterology office role responsible for triaging patient calls to appropriate processes, acting as a liaison between providers and patients, and serving as a patient advocate. Must maintain patient confidentiality, follow established procedures, and document interactions accurately. Requires knowledge of OSHA, Code Blue, and Fire Safety measures, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff. Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse and/or Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania with a minimum of 5 years nursing experience.
- Possesses the ability to deal tactfully and effectively with patient and their families, other employees, and physicians
- Strong computer and interpersonal skills
- High level of telephone skills with good communication ability
