Job Summary
LPN Wellness Nurse at The Residence at Cherry Hill oversees the Resident Care Team and assists the Resident Care Director with community management, supervision of resident care associates, and monitoring residents' health needs. Responsibilities include evaluating resident needs, developing and revising service plans per state requirements, direct supervision of staff, addressing medical concerns with the ED, family and MD as appropriate, ensuring infection control compliance, participating in community marketing, and providing direct resident care as needed. Requires active nursing license (RN or LPN), a nursing program credential, and at least two years of geriatric health care experience; strong written/spoken English, ability to lift and assist with clinical tasks, and capability to coordinate with multiple departments to maintain quality care and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma and graduation from an accredited Nursing Program
- Current RN or LPN License in the state you are employed
- At least two years of experience in a geriatric setting and prior health experience in hospital and/or community setting
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities to assist in planning for the Resident Care Department and communicate effectively in English
