Job Summary
Implement treatments and procedures within the scope of practice for the Licensed Practical Nurse under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Provide direct patient care activities including IV management, patient assessment, evaluation, teaching, and discharge planning. Assist in developing and updating patient care plans regarding age and developmental needs while participating in professional development. Maintain a constant state of alertness in this safety-sensitive position working 36 hours per week from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., including weekends and holidays. Immediate tuition assistance and free employee parking are available.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- LPN – IV Certification
