LPN Surgery - PRN

Conduct head-to-toe preoperative assessments and postoperative reassessments for pediatric, geriatric, and general patients in the same-day surgery and PACU areas. Administer medications and IV fluids while adhering to the five medication rights, and manage equipment safely. Formulate and evaluate individualized care plans, providing pain management education and verbal reassurance to patients and families. Identify physical symptoms and changes, communicate clearly with the charge nurse and physicians, and maintain professional conduct and confidentiality. Requires current Utah LPN licensure, BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
