Job Summary
Oversees LPNs and unlicensed assistive personnel in nursing care, maintaining positive relationships with the healthcare team and providing patient care across assigned age groups. Coordinates clinical operations, supervises, trains and develops department staff, and performs evaluations. Manages provider call and clinic schedules, safely administers medications and prescribed therapies, ensures compliance with National Patient Safety Guidelines, and completes medical/legal documentation. Requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, a current LPN license, and BLS certification; leadership experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. Flexibility to work a varied schedule and travel between facilities is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing
- 3 years of healthcare experience
- 1 year of relevant leadership experience
- Current LPN License in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
