Job Summary
Resident Wellness Supervisor oversees wellness staff, coordinates daily nursing operations to ensure efficient workflow, conducts regular assessments of residents' health and well-being, collaborates with the Wellness Director, care team, and healthcare providers to support individualized resident care plans, provides training and mentorship to nursing staff, maintains accurate documentation of patient care in the EHR, manages medication inventory and ensuring compliance with storage and handling regulations, communicates clearly with residents, families, and staff while maintaining confidentiality, maintains a clean and safe medication area, and promotes a compassionate, resident-centered wellness environment while upholding ethics and integrity.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Pennsylvania LPN license in good standing
- One year clinical experience providing direct care to seniors in a long term care or healthcare setting preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, and federal, state, and local regulations.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a commitment to high-quality patient care.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and accurate documentation
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and competently
- Technological proficiency with EHR systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Sound judgement and ability to make confident ethical decisions.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
