Job Summary
LPN Medication Care Manager administers medications and treatments, documents in the electronic health record, and ensures safe, organized care for residents. Responsibilities include medication administration, reviewing and documenting medication updates, counting narcotics with co-manager, maintaining the medication room and carts, assisting with ISPs, transcribing orders, and upholding Sunrise safety and infection-control standards. Collaborative duties involve coordinating with the Resident Care Director and Wellness Nurse, participating in daily Cross Over meetings, delivering resident-centered care, and adhering to Sunrise’s Principles of Service and regulatory requirements. Required credentials include an LPN/LVN license and CPR/First Aid certifications; prior experience with seniors is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- LPN, LVN, or state/province specific licensed nurse credential
- Must maintain certifications in CPR and First Aid where applicable
- 18 years of age or older
- Previous experience with seniors preferred
- Driver role may require additional duties and driving responsibilities (as applicable)
