Job Summary
Provide direct patient care in the Surgical Trauma ICU Step Down unit under RN supervision, implementing technical nursing procedures per established policies and plans of care. Assist with routine patient education and document patient care appropriately while communicating with team members to facilitate quality care delivery. Maintain current Alabama or multi-state licensure and complete BLS certification before orientation concludes.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of State board School of Practical Nursing
- current Alabama or multi-state licensure
- BLS
- before the conclusion of the orientation period
