Job Summary
Provide basic medical and nursing care; administer medications and injections; perform telephone triage; assist physicians and maintain patient flow in a Pulmonary clinic; requires LPN or Medical Assistant credentials and Florida license/certification; BLS; 90-day certification window for MA path.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing.
- Must possess active Florida license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- For Medical Assistant path: High school diploma or GED. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 1 year of Medical Assistant work experience within the last 2 years. Medical Assistant Certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment. Current BLS certification or to be completed within first 90 days of employment.
