Job Summary
LPN Specialist or Medical Assistant Specialist in Neurology sought for a full-time role. Provide basic medical and nursing care; administer medications including injections; perform telephone triage; educate patients and families; recognize and respond to emergencies; document in medical records; facilitate patient flow and assist the physician with procedures; maintain the integrity of the medical office.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing
- Active Florida Licensed Practical Nurse license
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 1 year Medical Assistant work experience within the last 2 years
- Medical Assistant Certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment
- Current BLS certification or to be completed within first 90 days of employment
