Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) providing nursing services in a senior living/long-term care setting. Responsibilities include medication administration under Federal & State regulations, admissions assessments, completion of acute and long-term care/service plans, potential clinical system tracking (e.g., wounds, infection control), health-related consultations, notifying physicians/families of changes, rapid emergency response, inter-department communication, educational sessions for residents and staff, participation in safety/disaster planning, confidentiality of resident information, possible discharges and documentation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Requires formal LPN training from an accredited program and current LPN license in the practicing state, plus CPR certification. English proficiency and basic computer skills are expected.
