Job Summary
LPN position in Frederick Living's Flex Pool providing skilled nursing care to residents while leading the neighborhood team. Responsibilities include supervising daily resident care, promoting person-centered care, coaching and supporting staff, observing and reporting changes in resident condition, documenting accurately, participating in care transitions and care plan reviews, collaborating with Cedarwood staff, ensuring infection control, maintaining call bell communication devices, attending trainings, and upholding the organization’s code of conduct. Requires Pennsylvania LPN licensure, BLS, strong communication, basic computer skills, and a flexible schedule; prior geriatric nursing experience is preferred. This is a per diem, flex pool role with varying hours and shift differentials.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Commitment to person-centered care
- Flexibility to work extra hours as needed
- Prior experience in geriatric nursing (preferred)
