LPN Shift Supervisor: Part time - 3pm - 11pm

Job Summary
Oversee, mentor, and nurture a team of nurses, HHAs, resident care aides, and medication technicians in the Wellness/Resident Services Center. Act as shift supervisor in the absence of the Director, providing direct help to residents with activities of daily living and medication administration. Follow all policies and procedures while adhering to the Director of Wellness's instructions. Prioritize, multi-task, and work independently to ensure resident safety and quality of life. Requires active LPN certification, staff supervisory experience, and familiarity with MARs and doctors' orders. Experience assisting those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Must have staff supervisory and medication oversight experience, preferably in an assisted living, nursing home or similar environment
- Must have an active LPN certification
- Must be caring, reliable and observant
- Must have an understanding of MAR's and doctors' orders
- Must be able to excel in prioritizing, multi-tasking and working independently
- Must be available for part time shifts from 3pm to 11pm
- Must be able to act as shift supervisor in the absence of the Director
Desired Qualifications
- Experience assisting those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia is a plus
