Job Summary
Assist physicians and RNs with patient care, including medication administration, monitoring, and documentation for elderly patients with mental health conditions. Provide direct care while maintaining a compassionate and safe environment, observing and documenting changes in physical or mental health. Restock patient rooms and maintain equipment to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, mental health technicians, and a psychiatrist to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Perform all duties in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. This full-time day shift role includes a weekend program schedule of Friday to Sunday consisting of three 12-hour shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Wisconsin
- Experience or interest in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills
- Full-time day shift role
- Weekend program schedule of Friday to Sunday consisting of three 12-hour shifts
