Job Summary
Conduct biometric wellness screenings at corporate sites, collecting height, weight, blood pressure, and performing finger stick blood collection for glucose and cholesterol. Provide basic health coaching based on individual results and perform waived testing procedures using the CardioChek Plus device while completing required quality control. Maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards, and deliver exceptional customer service during events. Travel to screening locations is required, with flexible per diem hours available for selected candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Formal medical education
- Current appropriate medical certification
- Additional medical certification or licensure as required by state or regulatory requirements
- High School diploma/GED
- Medical license
- Nurse license
- Phlebotomy Certificate
- Medical Assistant License
- C.N.A license
- At least 1 year of healthcare experience in a professional health care setting
- Completion of a fingerstick within the last 1-2 years
- Proficiency with finger stick blood collection methods
- Proficiency with manual blood pressure
- Skills for proper specimen and reagent handling
- Skills for specimen labeling
- Skills for specimen processing
- Skills for specimen preparation
- Skills for specimen transportation
- Skills for specimen storage
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 40 pounds
- Fine dexterity with hands
