LPN/RN Unit Manager

Monitor facility clinical systems to facilitate quality resident care in accordance with laws, regulations, and guidelines. Deliver basic nursing care to residents under care plans as ordered by a physician. Direct and develop RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to ensure high-quality service delivery. Conduct ongoing resident assessments to identify needs and revise care plans based on condition changes. Place medication orders with resident pharmacies and manage inventory of narcotics and emergency kits. Perform shift change reports, provide overall supervision for call light responses, and promote a team environment through communication and recognition. Monitor staff schedule adherence for breaks, shifts, and overtime while evaluating job performance and providing corrective action as needed. Requires current LPN or RN license, first aid and CPR certification, and at least one year of Long Term Care experience. Matrixcare knowledge preferred.
