Job Summary
Conduct biometric screenings at client sites, including finger stick blood collection, BMI, blood pressure, and height/weight measurements. Perform basic waived testing procedures using CardioChek Plus while maintaining accurate, complete, and legible records. Provide basic health coaching based on individual screening results and deliver exceptional customer service throughout events. Adhere to all safety policies, HIPAA, and OSHA standards while complying with federal, state, and local laws. Requires current medical certification, at least one year of healthcare experience, and proficiency with finger stick blood collection. Travel is required to screening event locations, and the role involves lifting objects up to 40 pounds. This per diem position supports Quest Diagnostics' leading provider of worksite wellness screenings and health improvement programs.
Required Qualifications
- Formal medical education
- Current appropriate medical certification
- Additional medical certification or licensure as required by state or regulatory requirements
- High School diploma/GED
- Medical license
- Nurse license
- Phlebotomy Certificate
- Medical Assistant License
- C.N.A. license
- At least 1 year of healthcare experience in a professional health care setting
- Completion of a fingerstick within the last 1-2 years
- Proficiency with finger stick blood collection methods
- Proficiency with manual blood pressure
- Skills for proper specimen and reagent handling, labeling, processing, preparation, transportation and storage
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 40 pounds
- Fine dexterity with hands/steadiness
- Ability to examine and observe details
- Access to computer, email, voicemail, internet, and Internet Explorer web browser
- Travel to screening event locations
