Job Summary
Deliver 1:1 in-home pediatric nursing care to an elementary-age patient in Burlington, IA. Provide nursing services within licensure/certification scope, maintain updated clinical records, evaluate and adjust patient care plans in collaboration with physicians, mentor/coaching for new employees during patient-specific orientations, educate patients and caregivers on care needs, participate in FFHC Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement activities, complete mandatory trainings, ensure patient/family confidentiality, and travel to patients homes as part of a flexible schedule (including 9-hr and 7-hr day shifts). Requires LPN/LVN licensure, 1 year of nursing experience, valid driver license, CPR, and state/national screenings; strong adherence to Nurse Practice Acts and Homecare policies. Required Qualifications
- LPN/LVN Nursing Degree
- Unencumbered LPN/LVN License in the state of employment or Multi-State license through eNLC/compact where recognized
- 1 year of demonstrated nursing experience
- Valid driver license with proof of insurance
- Clear background screening
- CPR certificate (in-person hands-on skills check)
- Hep B screening as applicable
- TB screening as applicable
- Knowledge of Nurse Practice Acts
- English communication proficiency (verbal and written)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Travel to patients' homes as required
- Ability to join and adhere to state regulations and homecare policies
- W2 employee status
