Job Summary
Deliver nursing care to residents in a warm, home-like setting as an LPN/RN at Benchmark Senior Living. Responsibilities include accurately assessing and documenting resident status, observing and reporting health changes, supervising Resident Care Assistants, mentoring Lead RCAs, coordinating care with providers, balancing service demands with resident independence, preventing elder abuse, responding to emergencies, and following state regulations. Requirements include an active LPN/RN license in the state and CPR certification, graduation from an approved LPN/RN program, and 1–2 years of nursing experience (elder care desirable).
Required Qualifications
- Current state license as an LPN/RN and CPR certification
- Graduate of an approved LPN/RN program (per state requirements)
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience working as a nurse preferred
- Previous experience working with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position is highly desirable
