Job Summary
Assure resident safety by planning, organizing, and directing nursing functions for assigned patients. Accurately implement physicians' orders, perform basic assessments, and record vital signs while noting changes in condition. Develop comprehensive care plans before duty ends to guide incoming personnel and maintain acceptable standards of patient care. Support infection-control policies, maintain confidentiality, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Accept accountability for clinical care, including supervision of nonprofessional personnel, while adhering to established standards and dress codes.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a current RN/ LPN license
- Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal or written instructions in English
- Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner
- Ability to be flexible and positive with intermittent interruptions
