Job Summary
Provide compassionate nursing care and support to individuals receiving behavioral health and substance use disorder services. Assess clients' physical and emotional health needs, administer medications, and monitor treatment progress. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care, educate clients and families, and maintain accurate clinical documentation. Promote a safe, supportive environment that respects client dignity while helping them achieve recovery goals. This role involves working within a multidisciplinary treatment team in Independence and Kansas City, MO, offering days, overnight, and weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Missouri
- Ability to provide nursing services in accordance with professional standards of practice
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance use disorders preferred
