Job Summary
Conduct morning and afternoon bus runs in the Downingtown area, assisting children with medical conditions during daily transport to and from school. Provide substitute school nurses for area schools and deliver one-to-one care for students. Accompany students on field trips, sports events, and dances while collaborating with teachers, parents, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes. This AM/PM bus run position is scheduled for the 2025/26 school year with the CritiCare team, a recipient of the Philadelphia Business Journals Best Places to Work 2024.
Required Qualifications
- LPN or RN
- School Nurse
- Assisting children with medical conditions on transport to/from school daily
- Providing area schools with substitute school nurses
- One-to-one care for children in schools
- Accompanying students on field trips, sports events, and dances
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals
