Job Summary
Assess patients for stability, verify medication dosages, and document vital signs, complaints, and allergies in one-to-one home care settings. Provide health promotion and train family members on necessary care procedures while ensuring accurate completion of doctor's orders. Manage GTube and Trach/Vent care with strong communication skills. Requires a current LPN license, 12 months of nursing experience, and CPR certification. Weekly schedule runs Monday to Friday with flexible weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited program
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
- At least 12 months of hands-on nursing experience
- Current CPR certification
- Willingness to provide in-home nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents
- Comfort and efficiency in the use of EMRs and computers
- Experience with GTube, Trach/Vent
- Detail-oriented
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Documentation review experience for 1 year
- Nursing experience for 1 year
- Willingness to work weekends as needed
- Willingness to work Friday - Saturday shifts
