LPN/RN Assisted Living, Evening Shift | Full Time (Evenings)

Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •Must have graduated from an accredited school or college of nursing program leading to licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• •Requires current licensure as a practical nurse in the state/states of practice
• •Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles for the resident in the relevant clinical setting
• •The LPN demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge
• •Must possess the ability to perform testing to evaluate data reflective of the resident's status
• •Ensures the health, comfort and safety of residents
• •Contributes to the assessment of residents
• •Administers medications or treatments as ordered
• •Provides technical support to healthcare professionals as needed
• •Documents resident interactions as needed and the outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary
• •Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with resident, health care providers, and the public
• •Ability to work effectively with professional and supportive personnel as a member of an interdisciplinary care team
• •Counsels residents, family members and/or resident advocate, under the direction of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider or physician on prevention and treatment plans
• •Knowledge of resident education principles to develop a self-care program
• •Must be able to lift 50 lbs
