Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients across multiple Mercy facilities in the St. Louis region. Float between designated sites including St. Louis, Festus, South St. Louis County, Washington, Troy, Perryville, Cape Girardeau, and Dexter. Provide bedside care in diverse units such as Orthopedics, Med/Surg, Telemetry, ICU, Emergency Department, and Behavioral Health. Maintain a current LPN license and hold required certifications like BLS, ACLS, and PALS depending on specialty. Work nights as a part-time role with significant patient lifting and turning responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license within the hiring state
- Meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements
- One year of recent bed-side LPN experience to work Med Surg
- Two years of recent bed-side LPN experience for all other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.)
- BLS certification for Med Surg
- BLS and ACLS certifications for Critical Care
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications for Emergency Department
- IV certification
