Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients across multiple Mercy Community Hospital facilities in the St. Louis region. Float between designated units including Orthopedics, Med/Surg, ICU, and Emergency Department. Maintain a current LPN license and meet state Board of Nursing requirements. This part-time night shift role offers flexibility and variety for experienced nurses seeking diverse clinical environments.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license within the hiring state meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements
- One year of recent bed-side LPN experience to work Med Surg
- Two years of recent bed-side LPN experience for all other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.)
- BLS certification for Med Surg
- BLS and ACLS certifications for Critical Care
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications for Emergency Department
- IV certification
