Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients across multiple Mercy facilities in the St. Louis region. Float between designated community hospitals including Mercy St. Louis, Jefferson, South, Washington, Lincoln, Perry, Southeast, and Stoddard. Provide bedside care in diverse units such as Med/Surg, ICU, Cardiac Telemetry, and Emergency Department while maintaining current LPN licensure and required certifications like BLS, ACLS, and IV. Work nights as part of a regional float pool with no contract, offering flexibility and variety in daily assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license within the hiring state
- Meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements
- One year of recent bed-side LPN experience to work Med Surg
- Minimum of two years of recent bed-side LPN experience for all other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.)
- BLS certification for Med Surg
- BLS and ACLS certifications for Critical Care
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications for Emergency Department
- IV certification
