Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients across multiple Mercy Southeast facilities. Float between designated Community Mercy Hospital locations including St. Louis, Festus, South St. Louis County, Washington, Troy, Perryville, Cape Girardeau, and Dexter. Provide bedside care in diverse units such as Orthopedics, Med/Surg, ICU, Cardiac Telemetry, and Emergency Department. Maintain current LPN licensure and hold required certifications like BLS, ACLS, and IV certification. Work nights in a full-time role with shift differentials, requiring recent bed-side experience and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license within the hiring state
- Meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements
- One year of recent bed-side LPN experience to work Med Surg
- Two years of recent bed-side LPN experience for all other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.)
- BLS certification for Med Surg
- BLS and ACLS certifications for Critical Care
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications for Emergency Department
- IV certification
