Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients across multiple Mercy Southeast facilities. Float between designated Community Mercy Hospital locations including St. Louis, Festus, South St. Louis County, Washington, Troy, Perryville, Cape Girardeau, and Dexter. Provide bedside care in diverse units such as Orthopedics, Med/Surg, Telemetry, ICU, and Emergency Department. Maintain a current LPN license and hold required certifications including BLS, ACLS, and IV certification. Work nights in a full-time role with shift differentials, offering flexibility and variety in daily assignments while building strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license within the hiring state
- One year of recent bed-side LPN experience to work Med Surg
- Two years of recent bed-side LPN experience for all other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.)
- BLS certification for Med Surg
- BLS and ACLS certifications for Critical Care
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications for Emergency Department
- IV certification
