Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients across multiple Mercy Hospital facilities in the St. Louis region. Float between designated units including Orthopedics, Med/Surg, ICU, Cardiac Telemetry, and Emergency Department. Provide bedside care while maintaining a current LPN license and holding required certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and IV certification. Work nights in a full-time role with shift differentials, supporting diverse patient populations and building strong clinical assessment skills within a collaborative team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license within the hiring state
- Meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements
- One year of recent bed-side LPN experience to work Med Surg
- Two years of recent bed-side LPN experience for specialties other than Med Surg (ED, ICU, etc.)
- BLS certification for Med Surg
- BLS and ACLS certifications for Critical Care
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications for Emergency Department
- IV certification
