Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients across multiple Mercy Community Hospital facilities in the St. Louis region. Float between designated units including Orthopedics, Med/Surg, ICU, and Emergency Department, providing bedside care with a minimum of one year of recent LPN experience. Maintain current LPN licensure and required certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and IV certification while working nights as part of a full-time regional pool.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license within the hiring state
- One year of recent bed-side LPN experience to work Med Surg
- Two years of recent bed-side LPN experience for all other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.)
- BLS certification for Med Surg
- BLS and ACLS certifications for Critical Care
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications for Emergency Department
- IV certification
