Job Summary
Regional Float Pool LPN, full-time nights, floats between Mercy facilities across the St. Louis region. Provides nursing care per standards for adult/geriatric patients; responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care across multiple units (Med/Surg, Telemetry, ICU, ED, etc.). Requires graduated Practical Nursing program, active LPN license in hiring state, 1+ year bedside Med/Surg experience (2+ years for ED/ICU), IV certification, and BLS; additional certifications (ACLS, PALS) as indicated by unit. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- LPN license in the hiring state
- One year of recent bedside LPN experience to work Med Surg (two years for ED/ICU)
- IV certification required
- BLS (Med Surg)
- ACLS (Critical Care) if applicable
- PALS (Emergency Department) if applicable
- Maintain current LPN license and meet State Board of Nursing requirements
Desired Qualifications
