Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients across multiple Mercy Hospital facilities in the St. Louis region. Float between designated units including Orthopedics, Med/Surg, ICU, Cardiac Telemetry, and Emergency Department. Maintain a current LPN license and hold required certifications such as BLS, ACLS, or PALS depending on specialty assignment. Perform patient assessment, care planning, and documentation while adhering to standards of nursing practice. Work full-time night shifts with a minimum of three facility assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license within the hiring state
- One year of recent bed-side LPN experience to work Med Surg
- Two years of recent bed-side LPN experience for all other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.)
- BLS certification for Med Surg
- BLS and ACLS certifications for Critical Care
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications for Emergency Department
- IV certification
