Job Summary
RN QI / Infection Prevention Nurse responsibilities include monitoring healthcare-associated infections, overseeing the antibiotic stewardship program, assessing infection prevention areas, preparing and presenting data and recommendations, developing and revising infection prevention policies, ensuring regulatory compliance, participating in the facility QAPI program, providing staff education, reporting to local/state/federal agencies, and coordinating outbreak investigations. Requires current Ohio RN license, specialized training in infection prevention and control, and strong communication and computer skills. Full-time day shift position at Addison Healthcare Center (CommuniCare Family of Companies).
Required Qualifications
- Current Ohio RN license
- Primary professional training in nursing, medical technology, microbiology, epidemiology, or related field
- Completed specialized training in infection prevention and control
- Ability to teach and evaluate clinical performance
