Job Summary
Gather patient measurements, collect data, and prepare patients for examinations and treatments. Record findings, support self-care and management plans, and perform supportive care tasks under the direction of licensed providers or registered nurses. Maintain equipment, supplies, inventory, and a safe work environment while utilizing standard precautions. Respond to patient requests and communicate effectively with the healthcare team. Engage in quality improvement initiatives, attend educational workshops, and participate in department committees. Requires current New York State licensure, BLS certification within six weeks, and a nursing program graduate degree. Full-time, 8-hour day shift in Utica, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of licensed practical nursing program
- Current New York State licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Must receive BLS certification within 6 weeks of hire date

- Bachelors or Masters of Science in Nursing from accredited nursing program
