Job Summary
Conduct general nursing care for patients, families, and caregivers in Medical Group practices, assisting with examinations, treatments, and self-management support under the direction of licensed providers. Gather patient measurements, record findings, and maintain equipment and supplies to ensure a safe, clean environment. Utilize standard precautions, communicate effectively with the healthcare team, and respond to patient requests. Maintain technical knowledge through mandatory workshops, in-services, and participation in quality improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of licensed practical nursing program
- Current New York State licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Must receive BLS certification within 6 weeks of hire date
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters of Science in Nursing from accredited nursing program
