Job Summary
LPN responsibilities include administrating or assisting residents with medications and treatments, collecting and transporting specimens for laboratory studies, communicating with physicians via telephone, fax, and forms, scanning and filing physician orders and lab reports in resident charts, assisting in developing and revising service plans, and performing duties as directed by the Wellness Director. The role requires effective English communication, compliance with state/provincial requirements, and an active LPN/LVN license with CPR certification. Part-time shifts are on Saturdays and Sundays at the Dallas, TX location, with equal opportunity employment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Meet state or provincial health related requirements
- Maintain current professional license and CPR certification if currently LPN/LVN
- Maintain any other certifications as required by state or provincial regulations
- LPN/LVN license (or active eligibility)
