Job Summary
LPN - Part-time Day Shift (every other weekend: Fri/Sat/Sun) in Baton Rouge, LA. Responsible for coordinating with the health care team to deliver quality care and restorative services, direct and indirect nursing care, resident assessment, care planning, intervention and evaluation, and supervising nursing assistants. Duties include administering medications, performing vital signs and glucose monitoring, coordinating admissions/transfers/discharges, and ensuring resident safety and compliance with nursing standards and regulations. Requires graduation from an accredited LPN program, an active Louisiana LPN license, Health Care Provider CPR certification, and at least one year of experience (long-term care and dementia care experience a plus). Required Qualifications
- Successful completion and graduation from an accredited school of Licensed Practical Nursing
- Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice Licensed Practical Nursing in Louisiana
- Must possess a current certification for Health Care Provider CPR
- Has at least one year of experience
- Long-term care experience and experience with residents in advanced stage dementia a plus
